The InSinkErator SS100 is a 1HP food waste disposer that features a corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction and a heavy-duty induction motor. The motor is completely enclosed to provide protection against outside moisture, and the cutting elements are made from long-lasting cast nickel chrome alloy, designed for reverse action grinding.
The package includes the base unit and mounting gasket only, and the disposer has a tri-voltage motor, allowing it to be connected to any of the three voltages. The grind chamber is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, and the motor is a totally enclosed induction motor with controlled power airflow.
The chrome-plated ¾" rubber mounting above the grinding chamber isolates sound and eliminates vibration. The nickel chrome alloy cutting elements are designed for reverse action grinding, and the disposer uses double-tapered Timken roller bearings, a triple lip motor seal, and a secondary spring-loaded oil seal.
The finish is paint-free stainless steel and chrome-plated, and the unit is UL and ISO 9000 certified. It comes with a 1-year full warranty from the date of installation. The motor specifications are 1HP, 1725 RPM, and the electrical specifications are 115/208-230V, 60Hz, 1Ph, 11.6/5.1/5.7 amps.
